Looking For East Lake Families

Green Spaces is looking for East Lake families to participate in an energy efficiency study. They will be meeting at Michal & Bethany Lane’s home on Thursday, May 4th, from 6-8 p.m.  Dinner will be provided.  Please contact Bethany at mvuaazul@hotmail.com

Conversation on Immigration Reform

First-Centenary UMC (419 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN  37402) will be hosting a discussion event with FWD.us on May 3rd at 6 pm. All who are interested in being a part of this conversation are welcome to attend. FWD.us is a bipartisan organization that harnesses the best of the advocacy and technology sectors to tackle tough political problems and issues that are critical to the United States’ knowledge economy.  Their mission is to mobilize the tech community to support policies that keep the “American Dream” achievable in the 21st century.  Their current policy focus is Immigration Reform, built on the following three principles:  1) Strengthening our Families and Economy; 2) Sensible Border and Interior security, and 3) Providing a Pathway – rejecting absurd proposals for mass deportation and creating a pathway to legal status and citizenship. 

East Lake Montessori Hiring Preschool Assistant

East Lake Montessori is hiring for the Preschool Assistant position for the 2017-2018 school year, August - May. Experience preferred but not required. M-Th, 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., for $10 per hour. Table Top Needed

East Lake Montessori needs to replace the table top in the nursery. It's got strong legs, but the top needs to be replaced. Please contact Bethany Lane for more information.

Host Families Needed

Chattanooga Sports Ministry is looking for three families who are willing to house our coaches as they work with the kids in our community.
