Please come share your lives with our community kids!  We would also love your prayers as we transition to new leadership. Pray for safety, a spirit of peace, and for volunteers to help serve.  For donations suggestions, please contact Kara Cadwell, @ elect@newcityeastlake.com.

FINANCIAL UPDATE

Last September NCEL became a particular church. The month before that, we separated finances from Glenwood. For the first 12 months, each month we were ‘in the black’, income exceeding expenses. That was not the case last month. The Finance Committee anticipated we might be ‘in the red’ for August as some expenses were going to be higher like VBS and having three pay periods instead of two. But in addition, contributions were well below budget and what we had been averaging.

For August the contributions were: Undesignated $18,332; Capital Campaign $1,610 and other designated $1,335 totaling $21,277. The budgeted amounts for each category respectively are $26,417; $2,500; and $1,602 totaling $30,519. We trust that last month was an exception.

The leadership of the church thanks you for your continued generous support of the Lord’s work at NCEL.
