TIPS FOR NURSERY WORKERS FOR NURSERY WORKERS Please dismiss yourself during the offering so you can be in place BEFORE the children arrive. The nurseries are located upstairs. You will be helping with children ages birth - kindergarten Please be friendly and helpful as parents drop off their children. Make sure visitors feel at ease and try to answer any questions they may have. Be sure to have parents sign their children in and place a name tag on their back. Get important information (allergies etc...) from the visitors AND their cell phone number if they have a phone with them. General Schedule: -Allow the children to play for about 15 or 20 minutes. -Clean up some toys. -Have the older children sit in a circle and sing some songs together. (some of the younger ones may not be able to participate - that is fine allow them to continue playing) -Read the Bible lesson/story for the day. -Give the children who are interested in the craft or coloring sheet some time to work on it for a few minutes. -Have everyone be seated for snack time. -More play time. -If you hear the closing song you can have the children help you begin to clean up the toys. -Please help move everything back into the storage closet after everyone has been picked up. FOR HALL MONITORS Please dismiss yourself during the offering.
