As a way to celebrate the contribution of Black brothers and sisters to the kingdom of God and reflect on ways to advance the kingdom in light of the political and racial divides that currently face us, we asked some black pastors in our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), to engage with the following question - "How should the church respond to the racial and political divide of our nation?" Pastor Thurman Williams, the Senior Pastor of New City Fellowship West-End in St Louis, provided this thoughtful reflection.
