The Abundance Box - Replenishing our Emergency Food Reserve

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."  Matthew 25:35

A few months back we asked you to consider helping us set up an "Emergency Food Reserve" by donating hygiene and food items. Thank for you helping us! We were able to meet some of the needs of people that are struggling by disbursing those items and praying with them.

And now we come back to ask you to help us do it again. On October 27th, you will find in the Gallery a wooden box we will call "The Abundance Box." God is calling us to stop living through a "framework of scarcity" and learn how to live through his "framework of abundance" - he has given and blessed us so much so that we do not have to fear being generous. And so, on that Sunday, we are inviting you to bring to church donations (see list below), and to drop them in "The Abundance Box." Our hope is to replenish our Emergency Food Reserve so that we can continue meeting people's needs in the name of Jesus.

If you have any questions about this opportunity to serve our community, please contact Eunice Mendoza or Gustavo Formenti.
