Connection Groups
Connection groups are just that. Groups of people intentionally making it a priority to find Jesus by showing up together in the places where Jesus shows up. We are encouraging everyone to participate in Connection Groups this coming school year through at least one of the following opportunities:

  • Small Connection Groups - our good old small groups. Same format, new name! A small connection group is a group of families or individuals that come together once a week or bi-weekly to fellowship, to pray, and to study the word of God together.

  • Midweek Connection Groups - Midweek connection groups are gender specific groups of men and women that meet regularly to deepen their friendship as they journey together with Jesus. These groups are already part of the life of our church. They happen organically and informally, and it's our hope and prayer to see more men and women get connected in this way.

  • Sunday Morning Connection Groups - Sunday morning connection groups are groups of people that meet on Sunday morning around the word of God and prayer. You might have experienced a Sunday School class at East Lake before. The difference between a Sunday School Class and a Sunday morning connection is primarily that Sunday morning connections groups are:

    1) small: we cap the number of people in these groups so that you will have an opportunity to participate;

    2) committed: these groups run for a predetermined period of time, so that you will have an opportunity to organize your calendar accordingly;

    3) focused: these groups have a clear purpose: either consider a book or a topic, or pray, so that you will be able to clearly pursue God’s nudging in your heart in this season.

Connection Spaces
The Ministry House is almost complete and the timing couldn't be better! We need more spaces for connection! We estimate $30,000 is needed to complete renovations and to landscape/hardscape the area connecting the Ministry House to our facility.

As you prayerfully consider joining us in this final push to have a useful and beautiful multi-use space for connections you can access the digital version of the pledge cards here.
