Family Ministry
Psalm 78:3-4
things that we have heard and known,
that our fathers have told us
We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.
Mission:
The Family Ministry of New City East Lake seeks to be a gospel-centered ministry in the East Lake community, representing God’s kingdom through reconciliation, justice and mercy, as taught by our Lord Jesus Christ in the Scriptures. This is accomplished by:
age appropriate teaching of God’s Word
embracing and acknowledging the presence of youth and children as being essential to the life of the church
outreach to the youth and children in the East Lake Community.
providing a safe and welcoming environment for all youth and children.
helping youth and children grow in their understanding of what it means to be members of the Church and providing opportunities for development of their spiritual gifts.
